Your Lower Manaslu Trek begins with a comfortable arrival in Kathmandu, followed by equipment checking and preparation.

Day 2: Kathmandu → Siran Danda (2,100m) by Drive + 1 hr Hike | Camping
Drive: 7–8 hours (approx. 140 km)
Hike: 1 hour / 2 km
Altitude: 2,100m

Drive from Kathmandu to Gorkha region and start a short hike toward Siran Danda, a beautiful ridge offering panoramic views of Lower Manaslu. Overnight camping at the hilltop.

Day 3: Siran Danda → Nagepokhari (3,250m) | Camping
Distance: 7–8 km
Time: 4–5 hours
Altitude Gain: +1,150m
Trek through peaceful forest trails to reach the sacred alpine lake Nagepokhari, one of the highlights of the Lower Manaslu Trek. Camp beside the lake under the open sky.


Day 4: Explore Nagepokhari → Trek Down to Siran Danda (2,100m) | Homestay
Distance: 7–8 km
Time: 3–4 hours
Altitude Loss: –1,150m
Morning exploration around the holy Nagepokhari Lake, photography & cultural insights. Descend to Siran Danda and enjoy a warm Nepali homestay experience.

Day 5: Siran Danda → Barpak Village (1,945m) | Homestay
Distance: 10–12 km
Time: 5–6 hours
Trek to the legendary Barpak Village, famous for its Gurung culture and for being the epicenter of the 2015 earthquake. A culturally rich day on the Lower Manaslu route.

Day 6: Barpak → Laprak Village (2,100m) | Homestay
Distance: 7–8 km
Time: 4–5 hours
Follow scenic ridges and forests to reach Laprak, one of the most beautiful villages in Gorkha. This is a culturally immersive homestay night.

Day 7: Laprak → Machha Khola (900m) | Tea House Stay
Distance: 14–16 km
Time: 6–7 hours
Descend toward the popular Manaslu Circuit trail and reach Machha Khola, a key trekking village. This day connects Lower Manaslu Trek with the classic Manaslu Circuit.

Day 8: Machha Khola → Kathmandu (or next destination)
Drive: 7–8 hours (approx. 160 km)
Altitude: 1,350m (Kathmandu)
Drive back to Kathmandu or continue to your next destination. Trek ends with beautiful memories of the Lower Manaslu Trekking Region.
