Rapidly gaining recognition as one the alternative to Annapurna Circuit trekking, the Manaslu region trekking is also receiving thousands of visitors – adding up each year.

The name Manaslu means “The Spirit-Mountain” in the local dialect, referring to the benevolent and strong deity, which dwells within. Manaslu conservation area has a unique environment, which is exceptionally rich in biodiversity. Bayside that trek to Manaslu base camp is a really delightful adventure. Bounded by Budi Gandaki and Marshyangdi rivers, the terrains of the trek are roughs and steeps and often run through high cliffs with roaring rivers downhill giving an adrenaline thrill and mesmerizing sensation with the spectacular geography at the same time.  The upper Budi Gandaki River region is also known as Nupri (The Western Mountains), are direct descendants of Tibetan immigrants so their language, dress, customs are exclusively Tibetan. Beyond this the Mountain View from Nupri are sensational and the crossing of the Larkey (5135m) is one of the most dramatic of any pass in the Himalaya.

The trekking in the Manaslu area has been considered to be one of the finest adventure destinations in Nepal.
